Tri-Valley Pilot Project


Mission
	Cultivate a world-class talent pool that meets the priority needs of Tri-Valley industry, enabling graduates to compete successfully in the global economy through the guidance of professional educators of the highest quality. Develop the leadership, programs, and funding to support this mission.

Objectives
	Develop career pathways that map through high school and college into high-skill, high-demand, high-income positions in the workforce. Drive a quantum increase in teachers with deep industry experience, leveraging their knowledge across a broad spectrum of students. Create significant opportunities for direct student experience in industry through internships, mentoring, and other methods. Use technology to expand the influence of industry in the classroom, with at least one pilot technology project in the 2008-2009 school year.
